Are you planning a family trip to Tampa Bay, Florida? This vibrant and kid-friendly destination has something for everyone. From interactive exhibits at the Glazer Children's Museum to the wonders of marine life at the Florida Aquarium, and the thrilling wildlife encounters at Zoo Tampa, there is an abundance of family-friendly attractions to explore. To top it off, the Fairgrounds St. Pete promises endless fun and excitement at their interactive museum. Recently, I was hosted by our friends @VisitTampaBay tourism board and had a blast with the littles at these locations!

Dive into an Underwater Wonderland at the Florida Aquarium:

Start your family adventure by immersing yourselves in a fascinating aquatic world at the Florida Aquarium. This popular attraction boasts a diverse range of interactive exhibits that allow kids to get up close and personal with marine life. From touching stingrays to watching playful penguins and mesmerizing sharks, children will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of ocean conservation and gain a deeper appreciation for the underwater ecosystem. Our favorite part of the day was touching the tops to the jellyfish! This was such a unique experience that we have never been able to do anywhere else! It was a bit cool when we went but they also have a fun splash pad for the hotter days! View the website site!

Encounter Wildlife at Zoo Tampa:

Zoo Tampa, a must-visit destination for animal enthusiasts of all ages. This world-class zoo offers a unique experience, where learning and entertainment go hand in hand. Explore the safari-themed areas and get ready to meet various wildlife species from around the globe. Children can marvel at elephants, giraffes, lions, and other magnificent creatures. Interactive exhibits and educational presentations provide a fascinating insight into the animal kingdom while promoting conservation efforts. We actually had the pleasure of getting to go inside the tortoise exhibit to feed them and touch them! The kids loved this meet and greet add on! View the website here!

Ignite Creativity at the Glazer Children's Museum:

Nurture your child's imagination and curiosity at the Glazer Children's Museum. This hands-on museum offers a wide array of exhibits and activities designed to engage young minds. From role-playing in a mini city to experimenting with water and building structures, children are encouraged to explore, create, and learn through play. With interactive displays catering to various age groups, the museum ensures a fun-filled and educational experience for kids of all ages. We honestly could have spent a whole day here because there is just so much to do and play with! Prince loved dressing up as all the careers and role playing. Plus you can meet Big John, the World’s Largest Triceratops, in an immersive & playful exhibit! How cool? Visit the website here.

Go Under The Neon Lights at Fairgrounds St. Pete:

Heighten all of your senses at Fairgrounds St. Pete. This vibrant indoor museum is filled immersive-tech art exhibits celebrating weird, wacky, wonderful Florida! This was one of my personal favorites and have been raving about it since we went. You can wonder each room at your own pace to take in everything and you don’t have a time limit. You can even take it up a notch and participate in a scavenger hunt. They are only open five days out the week so be sure to check their website here.
